Apple has launched an update for Apple Vision Pro. The new version, visionOS 1.1.2, is out now. This update mainly fixes bugs.
Apple is currently trying out visionOS 1.2 with Apple Vision Pro users who are part of the beta testing program. A new version of visionOS 1.2 was made available today.
The most recent update for Apple Vision Pro is April’s first. Before this, Apple launched visionOS 1.1.1 on March 21, at the same time as iOS 17.4.1. If we get more details about what today’s visionOS 1.1.2 includes, we will let you know.
VisionOS 1.1, launched in early March, brought in support for managing mobile devices for business email and calendar accounts. This update also significantly enhanced the beta version of the Persona feature.
Recently, Apple activated spatial Persona support. Now, virtual images of friends and family can show up outside the FaceTime window and in other experiences.
Apps compatible with spatial Persona feature Apple Music, Apple TV, Freeform, and the external Game Room app. Game Room offers traditional games like solitaire, chess, and hearts. It’s also usable on different devices like the iPhone and iPad.
What we think?
I just got the new visionOS 1.1.2 update for my Apple Vision Pro, and it’s mainly about fixing bugs. I’m excited to see if this makes everything smoother.
Apple’s also testing visionOS 1.2 with some users, so more cool stuff is coming. The last big update made managing work stuff easier and improved the Persona feature.
Now, my friends pop up in more places during FaceTime, which is fun. Can’t wait to see what’s next!
