According to “Kosutami,” a collector and leaker of Apple prototypes, Apple has halted the making of FineWoven accessories.
Kosutami posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Apple has discontinued making FineWoven accessories because they are not durable. The company might use a different non-leather material for its high-end accessories in the future.
FineWoven has gone.
Since its durability were bad.
All the production line was stopped and removed.
Apple would move to another material—Again, not the leather. So see ya'll in leather hell.

MacRumors believes that the same source has provided the latest news about the end of production for these items. Given the track record of accuracy, this information should be considered credible until further details emerge.
Last September, Apple discontinued its leather accessories and introduced a new “FineWoven” material. The company calls this material “luxurious and durable microtwill” and states it is made from 68% recycled polyester.
The pricing for these FineWoven products is as follows: iPhone cases at $59, MagSafe Wallets at $59, AirTag holders at $35, and Apple Watch bands at $99.
Customers have reacted negatively to the FineWoven material accessories, pointing out their poor durability and disappointing quality. None of the new color options for FineWoven accessories were included in Apple’s recent spring update.
If Apple has truly halted production of these accessories, it might take a while for the current stock to start running low.
What we think?
I think Apple will stop making FineWoven accessories because people don’t like them. They break easily and don’t feel good. Apple will probably use a different material that is stronger and better.
This will make customers happier. It will take some time for the old products to sell out. Apple always tries to make things better, so I expect something new and improved soon.
